T70 rope
scraper system
A flexible solution for cattle
houses with slatted floors
The MULLERUP rope drive system
T70 is used for removal of manure containing small quantities of
precision-chopped straw in cattle houses. The
T70 system is a
simple, but very robust and strong manure removal system with very low
maintenance costs. T70 is particularly suitable as a slat scraper, but
the many built-in functions enable easy customizing to different manure
removal needs.
Easy installation in new
and existing cattle houses
The system does not require much room and the power units are delivered
as a tower. A T70 system consists of 2 winches fitted on a their own
tower in both ends of one or two channels. The two winches work
alternately; one power unit coils up the rope while the other power unit
is free-wheeling and uncoiling the rope. Maximum stroke length is 70
m.
Rope monitoring
The design of
T70 makes the
rope self-tightening. In case of rope breakage an alarm is activated and
the system stopped. Between two scrapers a nylon wire with a steel core
is fitted to ensure that the scrapers work with a constant distance
between them.
Animal-friendly and very safe
operation
The scrapers move very slowly
and they reverse direction in case of overload or when meeting an
obstacle, thus increasing the animals' safety. In case of overload or an
obstacle the scrapers reverse direction and move to the channel end and
then reverse again and move forward. This allow the animals sufficient
time to move out of the way. If necessary, the T70 will perform the
reversing-sequence three times before activating an alarm and stopping
the system. An alarm is also activated if there is too much manure on
the slats in the reversing position. The T70 system may be fitted with a
telephone dial-up alarm.
A flexible solution
T70 allows manual or automatic
operation. It is possible to set up to 16 start-up schedules per day.
The scrapers can be parked in both ends of the cattle house.
